Redrock on Dicky Beach is located only 1 hour north of Brisbane airport, and 20 minutes south of Maroochy airport. Hire cars and door - to- door bus services are available from both airports and local buses servicing the whole of the Sunshine Coast go past the door. Redrock on Dicky is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast making access to all the major tourist attractions just a short drive away.

Dicky Beach is named after the wreck of the SS Dicky which ran aground in 1892. It is excellent for both swimming and surfing, safe and pleasant in almost all weather conditions.

The beach is patrolled 7 days a week during the season, and boasts a famous seaside park. It stretches from Moffat headland in the south to Point Cartwright in the north. With a nature reserve for bushwalking, natural rock pools, and Currimundi lake close by, Dicky Beach truly is a holiday - makers paradise. There is also great rock, beach and estuary fishing all year round.
